What is biggest – SaaS or S+S?
Doing a determanistic view on SaaS and Software + Services, I some times feet it difficult to understand if Microsofts S+S strategy is bigger than SaaS. Doing a search on my most favorite search tool www.google.com did not help me at all.
We need to define and develop the different projections on this, and as google clearly state, Microsoft did not push more momentum to the S+S market, than the whole SaaS market. So what is the difference? Stay tuned!
Difference? Real Easy. MS has built a massive business on licensed software and they need to protect that.
It also makes sense that since ‘IT is not throw away’ that an evolution of licensed software and new services in the Cloud combine.
My bet is THE CLOUD will win it is customer friendly.
